SYLOPURE is exclusively designed for toothpaste application produced by the “sol gel” method. It generally has lower impurities than common precipitated silica, thus less chemical effect on the formulation. SYLOPURE is used for Thickening, Abrasion, and Cleaning applications.
FEATURES
High Purity, High Chemical Stability
SYLOPURE is a high-purity synthetic silica that does not have a crystal structure and is characterized by having little chemical effect on the compounded products. Since it has little effect on flavor, it can be safely used in oral care products such as dentifrice.
Physical Property Control (Particle Size, Pore Size)
SYLOPURE is available with silica shape, particle size, and porous structure controlled according to the intended application.
We can supply targeted grades with polishing, cleaning, viscosity and hardness upon requests.
PURPOSE
Application
・Effect on fluorine
SYLOPURE has less effect on fluoride ions under wide range of pH and long-term storage compared with that of calcium-based materials.
・Cleaning power characteristics
SYLOPURE is a softer than dental enamel and does not damage teeth. Additionally, grades with various cleaning properties are available to support a wide range of dentifrices from high cleaning(PCR Value) and low abrasive(RDA value) power.
