Chemical Stability and High Purity
FUJI SILICA GEL has high chemical stability, water-insoluble, non-corrosive and deliquescent. (except hydrofluoric acid and strong alkalis). In addition, FUJI SILICA GEL consists of 99.7% of SiO2, which is extremely high purity.
Physical Properties and Characteristics: A type and B type Silica Gel
FUJI SILICA GEL has A type and B type matching JIS (Japanese Industrial Standards: Silica Gel Desiccant for Packaging). We can also provide different types of silica gel in commercial use .
Property of A type
A type has a large specific surface area and a small pore volume. It has strong adsorption under low humidity and is suitable as general desiccants.
Property of B type
B type has a larger pore volume than A type. Therefore, it has the property of high adsorption capacity under high humidity. It also has remarkable properties of adsorption and desorption under relative humidity.
